Children always have lots of questions. However, children who do not get clear answers gradually lose interest in asking questions. The idea for this book was born of an adult's reflection on children who lose interest in asking questions as they grow up because the questions don't appear on exams, other information is blindly demanded to be memorized, and overflowing curiosity is suppressed.
It answers questions faithfully, fosters the will to think for oneself, and is geared toward adults who enjoy conversations and children who grow up with a broad imagination and a deep sense of thinking with curiosity. Children grow up by exploring every corner of the neighborhood, whether it's their home, school, local mart, or movie theater, and they raise questions and identify the underlying principles. Science Village is a place where parents and children alike can exercise their imagination and ask questions.

"A world of common sense would be one in which scientific thinking, doubting, contemplating, questioning, and answering are commonplace. Although this kind of world is still far away, Science Village can tell you what kind of attitude you should have to move into that world." - Lee Myeong-hyeon (Senior Korean Researcher, SETI Institute; Author of Lee Myeong-hyeon's Starry Night), 2016 "Like a big history that explains everything in the world as a singular big story, this book provides a framework for understanding the world while dealing with and connecting knowledge from various fields." - Kim Seo-hyeong (Chairman of the Jo Ji-hyeong Big History Cooperative), 2016
