Uncle Peong is a happy inventor who can make everything he wants. However, one problem he has is that he takes too much time to make a decision. Uncle Peong invents Grandfather Carrot who can solve every problem he has within a second.

Uncle Peong is happy since he no longer has to make any decisions. However, as time goes by, Grandfather Carrot starts making the decisions that Uncle Peong should be making for himself. As Uncle Peong realizes that he is losing his true color, he decides to make his own decisions by himself. Uncle Peong becomes alone again. Making a decision is still a not an easy job for him. However, something has changed...

This book shows children who have a problem making decisions the process of loving oneself, and helps them to find their own color.

About the Author

Kim Misojin



The artist was born in Seoul and studied counseling at Dankook University.

In addition, he conducted a picture book workshop for children at the Gunpo Book Village Culture and Art Creation Village, “a painting playground that strengthens the mind,” and worked on picture books in the creation room of the Toji Cultural Center.

  'Mr. Pung' is the artist's first picture book created while attending the Bologna Picture Book Workshop at KT&G Sangsang Madang. "I want to make a picture book that warms my heart and makes me laugh." the artist said,
