Overview

A variety of stories about a Korean woman's six years of work experiences in Singapore.

Book Intro

This book is an honest recounting of a Korean woman's work and life in Singapore for the past six years. It humorously describes her experiences, such as the daily life of job searching, or the system and organizational culture of a foreign company overseas, the daily studying of a foreign language which was constant, the search for a home, hobbies, dating, and international marriage.

Her fantasies about working and living abroad faded away after six years, but so did any inclination of returning home. This is because she wants to live where she can be challenged rather than setting limits on her work and life. Although Korean, she continues to dream of living as a citizen of the world.
