Overview

This children’s story lets readers get the experience of switching the roles between reader and author and observing that the process of writing itself turns into the narrative.

Book Intro

“You are a genuine author only when you listen to the singing of a woodpecker as if it is the sound of the wind blowing through a pine tree.”
Six stories that brush past and are connected to each other and form a complete, round collection.

This is a collection of short stories written by Ju Mikyung, who surprised everybody by winning the Munhakdongne Children’s Poem Literary Award in 2015 and the Munhakdongne Children’s Literary Award in 2016. The characters and events are perfected by the author in a beautiful tone, drawn in pictures and sung as a song, with the flavor blended by poetry and prose. The rolling rhythm in the mouth when you read it out loud and the sentences that capture the subtle and complicated feelings are sure to satisfy readers. The stories loosely share the characters and space and are stealthily connected, offering renewed fun.
