This book carries the three adventures of little, unskilled, but well-disposed children. Dong-fu, My Hero, in which Tan, who became a pants-pooper in front of his friends learns Dong-fu, the world-greatest martial art from the Dong-fu Man he met at the restroom; Oh, the Parcel of Miji, a story about Miji, a nine-year-old who receives a parcel for the first time in her life, and wears the sneakers that she takes out from the box and runs to heaven to meet her dead companion dog; A Ramen, where a coward sewer rat called Ramen is given a mission to save the village, a mission that is as threatening for it as a mousetrap - these three stories take readers to the lovely and cheerful conclusion and presents them ‘an inspiring taste.’ Han Jisun, the artist who uses free and dynamic lines and simple, warm colors, added the touching illustrations that make readers more engaged.
Cha Younga, who debuted as a children’s book writer with this book, has been working as a TV writer for various entertainment shows and children’s programs for 15 years. “To live is to encounter a million and four thousand two hundred eighty nine amazing events,” “the sneakers that were developed by Dr. Eishipdein as a result of his 50-year research and approved by HASA” - these witty phrases that linger in the memory, the free imagination, and the humor filling the warming stories testify to the author’s potential.
