Tema dari buku bergambar ini adalah komunikasi yang terjalin antara burung dan seorang anak perempuan. Selalu ada kesulitan komunikasi antara satu makhluk hidup dengan makhluk hidup lainnya di dunia ini. Karya ini mencakup permasalahan yang disebut dengan sudut pandang cerita yang menghangatkan hati. (English) Ryu Joo-young was born in Seoul and learned illustration in England. Making and drawing a children's book. The author has written and drawn books named The Bird and the Little Girl and I am Green, and drawn Violence: Is this also violence?, Speaking and Reading Method.
(Russian) Родился в Сеуле и изучал иллюстрацию в Англии. Пишет и рисует детские книги. Автор книг “Птицы и девушки”, “Я зеленый”, и художник книг “Насилие: и это тоже насилие?” и “Говорение и чтение”.
(French) Née à Séoul, elle a étudié l'illustration en Angleterre. Elle fait des livres pour enfants et elle dessine. Elle a écrit Oiseau et fille et Je suis vert, et illustré Violence: c’est aussi la violence? et Méthode de lecture parlée, etc..
