One winter day, when everything in the world was frozen, grandma and grandpa were traveling far away by train. But my mom who was in grandma’s belly, wanted to come out to this world sooner than expected. Under the leadership of one old lady, a train conductor stopped the train and men in the train brought hot water and women made a curtain with their skirts. Not after long, my mom cried for the first time. My mom was named Dahye. Da means ‘many’ and ‘Hye’ means “Grace” Every time my mom is frustrated, she knows how to soothe her feelings with a glass of rice wine. Her laugh is also loud and powerful. she said “the bravest person in the world is your grandmother who gave birth to a child on a train! and I am the daughter of that woman! Hahaha!” Indeed, my mom was a child who was born on a train.
