The book tells the story of coexistence of wild animals and humans in South Korea.
- Book Intro
-
People working in emergency centers for wild animals make heroic efforts to save the lives of animals and return them to their natural habitat. Despite inadequate facilities and a significant lack of personnel, they work hard to save every life. The biggest happiness for them is to release wild animals back to nature after finishing treatment. Sadly, only 30.2% of hospitalized wild animals go back to nature. Veterinarians feel proud of their job when they see wild animals jump out of the cage and return to their natural home. Emergency Center for Wild Animals takes readers inside this labor of love and shows the sense of pride and frustration experienced by these animal caregivers.
