Overview

The book tells the story about life seen through the eyes of three dogs, a child, and a monk.

Book Intro

(English) The Buddhist nun Who Gathers Dog Dung

The monk Jinyeop, who is teaching children at a daycare center at Yongmunsa Temple, one of the biggest temples in South Korea, talks about life by reflecting on his life with three dogs. He relates that every life is equally precious, that life is something that can be taken away but cannot be distributed, and that it is important to live as a decent human being. Although his stories deal with serious topics such as living, separation, relationship, happiness, humanity, and life, his warm and beautiful writings are delightful to read.

(Japanese)
