A Treble Cleft in My Heart is a story about a boy whose abrupt first love confounds him. Dongwoo is a sixth grader at Garam Elementary School. As a member of the Youth Orchestra, he goes to practice every Saturday. Among the orchestra members, one girl catches his attention. She is older than him. Her name is Sooyoung, and she is the older sister of his classmate Yoojeong. But it turns out she already has a boyfriend. She is as beautiful as a princess in a fairy tale. Will Dongwoo ever be able to confess his feelings to her?
It is only natural to develop feelings for someone. This is true not only of grownups but of children as well. These days, children hang around with their friends at school and private academies. They spend more time with their friends than with their family. Naturally, they develop special feelings for one another. But many grownups become concerned when this happens. They worry that children may run into unexpected problems, get hurt or neglect their studies. The more grownups interfere, the more children shrink away and hide.
A Treble Cleft in My Heart depicts children experiencing their first love in a sincere and healthy way. The story will gain the sympathy of those suffering heartache like Dongwoo and offer fun and excitement to those starting to take interest in love.
