It's difficult for kids to describe their feelings. As we can see in children who irritate others to express their various feelings such as suffering, disliking something, feeling frustrated, or deeming something as being unfair, many children often use the same simple words to express their feelings or have trouble expressing their true feelings. Inaccurate expressions can make communication harder with parents and teachers and sometimes bring unnecessary conflict and misunderstanding. The Dictionary of a Nine-Year-Old's Heart teaches words that can be used to express feelings like impressed or fulfilling in alphabetical order. Through this book, children can learn proper words to express their feelings in specific situations. They can also empathize with situations that are described in simple writing and realistic pictures. While reading the explanation of each word, readers can also understand the exact meaning of each word and learn where to use the word. After learning various expressions through this book, readers will be able to communicate with others and express their feelings.
