Overview

This book is a collection of seven stories that use bold imagination, such as a four-cornered piggy that looks like a pink refrigerator and a lion that comes through the front door to deliver serious messages.

Book Intro

The first book by author Kim Taeho, Wait!, was well received by critics, who also commented "We are lucky to have such a beautiful story". This book contains many unique and well-crafted stories, including Wait!. The author uses bold imagination to describe the problematic situations in each of the seven stories. The Four-Cornered Piggy, which is introduced on the book cover, is a story about pigs in four-cornered cages and a plump pig who reads books about ways to get to Heaven. How to Recycle Cats is a story about a cat that is captured in a recycling clothing bin. One Day, a Tiger Came to the House is a parody of an old Korean folktale called The Brother and Sister Who Became the Sun and the Moon. This story is about a woman who bets her life with a tiger that comes to her front door. The author realistically showcases how an animal responses to unfamiliar spaces and situations as well as how this surreal situation occurs. By doing so, the author makes readers feel like the stories in this book may really happen in real life. The question "What would you do?" that encompasses the whole story leaves each with an air of sharpness and seriousness.
