About the Author

Kim Hanee



Kim Hanee was born in a mountain village and finally settled down in Bukchon after visiting Seoul. Kim writes stories with a young mind, as if she were a seven-year-old mischievous boy. She is always excited about new ideas regarding fantastic stories. Books written by Kim Hanee include The Proverb King vs. Four-Character Idiom Expert, The Friend Library, The Taoist Hermit’s Rock Poo Rock, The Pooping Library and Gaya’s Daughter, Madeul.

(English) The author studied art at Hongik University and illustration in France. Her books include 《Happiness, What is That?》, 《The Dangerous Seagull》, 《The Grand Operation of Returning the Parrot》, 《The Tantandong Intersection’s Great Fortune Propagator》, 「Math Detectives」, and 「Science Detectives」.

 

(Indonesian) Penulis belajar Seni Rupa di Universitas Hongik dan ilustrasi di Prancis. Saat ini Ia aktif sebagai ilustrator buku anak-anak. Buku gambar karyanya antara lain, 《Apa Itu Bahagia?》 《Burung Camar Berbahaya》 《Operasi Pengembalian Burung Beo》 serta beberapa seri  「Detektif Matematika」 dan 「Detektif Sains」.

 

(Japanese) 弘益大学で美術を勉強し、フランスでイラストレーションを勉強しました。今は子供の本のイラストレーターとして活動しています。絵を描いた本は、『数学探偵』、『科学探偵』シリーズなどがある。
