Todak wearing checkered pajamas is a precious friend that understands children who don't want to go to sleep every night. He kindly listens to the stories of children about things that happened during the day, plays the blanket game with them, and travels off somewhere on a night train in the children's dreams. Before falling asleep, these stories understand children's feelings and softly rock them to sleep. The simple and rhythmic writing and illustrations, which are full of imagination and show how children really feel, provide a big help to both children and parents in need of a sound rest. Seo hyun, who has been introducing fresh and unique picture books to the world, comes together with children's poet Kim Yoojin, who describes the emotions of children in a delicate manner, to bring a lovely sleep buddy to younger readers.

Kim You-jin
Kim You-jin was born in Seoul in 1977 and raised in Jinhae. Kim graduated from Sokang University with a degree in Korean Language and Literature and Graduate School of Theology of the same university. She also studied children's literature during a PhD course in Korean Studies at Inha University. Kim won the 1st Changbi Children New Writer's Literary Award for Children's Poem and her poem was recommended in the literary magazine Children and Literature. She was also awarded the 4th Changbi Children New Writer's Literary Award for Critique.
Seo Hyun
(English) Born in 1982 in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, Seo Hyun is a picture book writer with witty illustrations and stories full of live bold and rich expressions. Seo Hyun graduated from Hongik University with a major in Painting and studied illustration in HILLS. Seo has been trying various expressions with cartoonish imaginations because she has always liked cartoons since she was a little child. Her goal is to create humorous picture books that everyone can enjoy. Picture books with illustrations Seo has drawn include The Strange Keyring, Poop Science Museum and Drinking the Moon. Books Seo has written include Ocean of Tears and Running Electrons and Flowing Electrics.

Il a reçu le prix 2017 des publications et de la culture coréennes pour le livre d'images "Chatouillements". Le livre que j'ai écrit et dessiné, "Mer de larmes", a grandi !
