This picture book shows the innocent mind of Kwon Jeongsaeng, the author who wrote Puppy and Baby Goat, Doggy Poo and My Sister, Mongsil. A cheeky puppy and a shy baby goat become friends and play together after squabbling. The two are described in a lovely way with simple emotions and friendly words used in poems written by Kwon Jeongsang when he was a young boy. The illustrator, Kim Byeong-ha, has interpreted these poems in a more mindful and fulfilling way, showing a simple but bright and innocent world. Young readers will enjoy and be satisfied with the cute and lively characters in this book.

Kwon Jeong-saeng
(Russian) Детский писатель Квон Чонсэн (1937-2007, настоящее имя Квон Кёнсу) родился в Токио и перебрался в Корею сразу после её освобождения от колониальной зависимости. Он жил в небольшом глиняном доме в уезде Андон провинции Северная Кёнсан и работал звонарём в деревенской церкви. Он прожил жизнь в бедности и болезни и писал о природе, жизни и красоте слабых и обречённых на тяготы и страдания. Писатель оставил после себя более 150 романов и коротких рассказов и более 100 детских стихотворений и песен.
(English) Kwon Jung-saeng (M) was born in Tokyo, but returned to Korea immediately after liberation from Japanese colonial rule (1945). Working as a bell ringer in a small village, he made his debut as a children's story writer in an annual literary competition. Knowing illness and poverty throughout his life, Kwon wrote beautifully about the beauty of nature, life, and those who suffered because of their fragility.
Kim Byung-ha
Kim Byung-ha was born in Goheung, the South Jeolla province in 1969 and studied painting at Jeonnam University and University of Seoul's Graduate School of Design. His paintings contain emotions that reflect his experiences of having fun playing and working with his friends in a country town. Kim draws pictures, believing in the power of knowing the life force of nature and the truth of human history. Picture books drawn by Kim Byung-ha include The Song of Creation, The Dream, The Father Magpie, and Suwon Hwaseong Fortress. Stories for children with illustrations created by Kim include Mohammad's Shoes, Back up Samsik, and The Threshing Day. Picture books written and drawn by Author Kim include The Water Deer Garden.
