Jo Hosang
Jo Hosang was born in Wonju, Gangwon Province of Korea. Jo made his literary debut in 1989 by announcing poems and received the Jeon Taeil Literary Award the following year. Books written by Jo Hosang include Yeonorang and Seonyuh, The Baby General, Side Splitting Funny and Witty Stories, A Man with a Unique Talent, Wild Animals Rescue Team, Really Real Really Fake, and The Corn Chief in Africa.
Yoon Misook
(Russian) Художница Юн Мисук изучала в университете западную живопись. В настоящее время она рисует иллюстрации для детских книг. В 2004 году она получила премию BolognaRagazzi Award за книгу «Старушка и тигр».
(English) Yoon Misook studied Western painting and now works as a freelance illustrator. In 2004, she was the first Korean to receive the Ragazzi Prize at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair for her work in the book Red Bean Porridge Granny and the Tiger. In 2019, she received her second Ragazzi Prize for her illustrations in The Moon over the Apple Orchard. She has illustrated books including Red Orange Yellow Green Blue Purple, Color Word Play; A Small Boat Bobbing; The Tale of a White Mouse; The Elephant with Buckteeth; Penguin; Laughter Is Powerful; and The Tree Is Smiling.
