Bong-gu Yoon, the Clone is a heartbreaking sci-fi story of a boy who comes to the realization that he is a human clone. It's the first Korean publication to tackle the subject. One day, Bong-gu finds a letter in the mailbox that says, "I know you are a clone", shattering his family's world. Bong-gu must hide his secret from those around him, all while wrestling with the philosophical question of who, or what, he really is. Bong-gu's journey of self-discovery unfolds with honest, flamboyant charm and tear-jerking moments.
After accidentally discovering an unbelievable secret about himself, Bong-gu can't ever be at ease. On one particularly difficult day, Bong-gu receives a letter that claims, "I know you are a clone", and his simple life as a 12-year-old boy is turned completely upside-down. As if being paranoid about his secret weren't enough, Bong-gu now has to worry about who else out there knows his secret. Bong-gu falls into an uncontrollable state of fear, concerned that the world will soon discover that he's the world's first human clone and take him away. The only thing that can calm him down is a bowl of jajangmyeon noodles. Determined to become the best jajangmyeon chef at a local Chinese restaurant, he continues to learn while trying to figure out what's real, what isn't, and who he really is. He discovers himself and matures through the love of his mother and brother.
