Young-chul works at a large Korean conglomerate. One day, he takes his son to Lotte World, one of Korea's most popular amusement parks, where he runs into his old friend from high school, Gwang-su. In high school, Gwang-su lived in a semi-basement apartment with his parents who ran an antiques shop. Gwang-su greets Young-chul in his old, rather shabby demeanor. But in his hands, he's holding a different pair of park tickets. They're premium magic passes, allowing users to skip lines and get to the rides directly. He tells Young-chul he walked to Lotte World from his home. Wherever could his home be? Young-chul looks up and sees the mega-high-rise apartment complex, Lotte Signiel. Gwang-su had never been the brightest student, and his folks weren't well off.
