About the Author

Choo Jeong-kyung



(English) She worked as a broadcasting writer. She won the 4th Changbi Youth Literature Award with "My Name is Mango" (2011), a thrilling adventure story about a 17-year-old girl who left for Cambodia with her mother, with the praise of "opening up the undiscovered areas of youth literature". She also wrote "Bunker" (2013), a story about wounded boys hiding in a secret bunker under the Han River Bridge, and "Black Dog" (2019), a mystery novel about uncovering a conspiracy that suddenly involves a promising tennis player. In 2021, she published a genre novel, "He Comes Riding a White Cadillac," which combines film noir and science fiction.
