(Japanese) ロイヤルロードで会おう
ソーシャルネットワークサービスをはじめとする様々なメタバースプラットフォームが人々の日常に定着している。最近流行り始めたゼフェトやロボックスなど、各種ソーシャルネットワークサービスが発達するにつれ、別の空間で別の自分を作り出すことが当たり前になり、元々ゲーム用語だった「サブキャラ」という言葉も広まっているようだ。仮想世界と現実世界の境界を歩き、両者を自由に行き来するのだ。
『ローヤルロードで会おう』は、3つのSF小説を通して、このような自由なメタバースの中のマルチ・ペルソナ文化の中で、青少年が体験できることは何か、何を考えなければならないのかを問いかける。

Lee Hee-young
(English) The author made a debut as a writer by winning the Rookie of the Year Award of the 1st Kim Seungok Literary Award in 2013. In 2018, she also won the Grand Prize of the first BritG Romantic Thriller Contest with Who Are You and the 12th The Changbi Prize for Young Adult Fiction with Paint. Published works include Summer Summer Vacation, Paint, and Who Are You.
(Japanese) 短編小説『人が住んでいます』で2013年第1回キム・スンオク文学賞新人賞大賞を受賞し、本格的な作品活動を開始。2018年『ペイント』で第12回チャンビ青少年文学賞を受賞し、同年第1回『君は誰だ』でブリッGロマンススリラー公募展大賞を受賞した。その他の著書に長編小説『普通の夕日』などがある。その他、第10回5・18文学賞小説部門、第3回灯台文学賞最優秀賞、KB創作童話祭優秀賞などを受賞し、文学的な能力を認められた。
Shim Neoul
(English) Shim Neoul majored in psychology, and in 2019, he won the Grand Prize for Novellas and Short Stories at the SF Award and the Tory Comics Award for the Asian Film Market at the Busan International Film Festival for Press Jump to End the World. He's also published the collection of short stories Thank God, It's Friday and the full-length novel Extinction Society. Shim writes under his given name, as he is proud of his name, but most people assume that it is a pen name, which brings him no end of grief.
Jeon Samhye
(English) Born in 1987, Jeon Sam-hye graduated Myeongji University majoring in Creative Writing. They decided on their major after serializing fanfics online. Since 2016, they have been working as a game scenario writer. They are also Korea's most successful and prolific YA SF writer, aiming to spread SF far and wide among younger readers. They are the 2nd Vice-President of the Science Ficition Writers Union of Korea and has been writing professionally since 2010. They were once a lighthouse keeper in Pangyo.
After their debut in 2010 through the Daesan College Literary Award, they have published several books including INTERNATIONAL DATE LINE, BOY GIRL EVOLUTION, WITCHES DELIVERY, and others. They have also participated in numerous anthologies including BULLIED, THE SHOUT OF EXISTENCE, THE MOLECULE OF LOVE, LET US SEE THE ENDING, and WHALE COMMUNICATION.
