This collection contains seven stories, including Shoko's Smile, which depicts two characters of different nationalities and languages breaking through the threshold of growth, Xin Chào, Xin Chào, which tells the story of the main character, her mother, and a woman named Mrs. Nguyễn who experienced the deaths of loved ones during the Vietnam War. Also featured is Hanji & Youngju, a story about Hanji, a young man from Kenya, and Youngju in a monastery in France.

Choi Eunyung
Born in 1984, Choi Eunyung studied Korean literature at Korea University. She made her literary debut in 2013 by winning the New Writer's Literary Award from the literary magazine Writer's World.
