(English) Summer Vacation Homework Fabricators
Isn’t the summer vacation for a real break? However, mom never stops nagging even during the summer vacation. Today, Jun Bo got pushed by his mother again by being asked to do homework while watching the television. He tried to just ignore her saying, but at that moment, his mother proposed a very tempting bet. If he got awarded for the vacation homework, she promised to buy him a ‘Playstory’ gaming machine! So, Jun Bo decided to work on a vacation homework diligently, and called his friend, Gu Bong, to tell this good news. However, he got disappointed right away when Gu Bong said, “It’s impossible for you to get awarded.” Eventually, Jun Bo and Gu Bong asked Gyung Soo, the top student of the class and got award for vacation homework last year, for help. However, Gyung Soo rejected them, saying, “Why am I supposed to help you?”. Will Jun Bo succeed in persuading Gyung Soo and getting the award for his homework with Gu Bong? Can Jun Bo earn a ‘Playstory’ gaming machine?
These three friends gathered together for homework, sometimes argued one another, and got rain while listening to cicadas under the sunshine. By doing so, they all slowly learned how to get along with others, how to help and care for others who think differently from me and realized what friends were for. In the end, they all earned the opportunity to think of what really the important thing was on their own. Finally, these three characters in ‘Summer Vacation Homework Fabricators’ spent their summer vacation through hands-on learning about being together, learning, and building true friendship or relationship with others. It could be somewhat typical and obvious like textbooks themes, but readers can feel how capable of the writer is to describe these unique and lovable characters in a realistic situation by using an easy material of ‘vacation homework’.
