Overview

Hoo hoo~ A magical story that blows away every worry and trouble! This book is a lovely picture book that shows how a dad, a child, and a family communicate and connect.

Book Intro

(English) Hoo Hoo

A child wants to play with his dad. However, dad lets out the sigh, “hoo-hoo~.” The child sullenly leaves his house, pulls up a dandelion, and blows away the spores, making a “hoo-hoo~” like his dad. The child lets out a big sigh once again as he sees the dandelion seeds blowing in the wind. Then a cat sitting on a wall blows away. As the boy lets out “hoo-hoo” towards a tree, the leaves on the tree fly away, along with the signs on a store on the side of a road. Surprised by these unbelievable sights, the child breathes out towards a cloud in the sky. This time the cloud blows wind like “hoo-hoo” toward the child. With the wind from the cloud, the boy’s body rises up in the sky, and even flies up to the universe. The child encounters a wind monster and battles against it. Finally, the child wins and returns home, where he blows away his dad’s worries like “hoo-hoo~.”
