(English) CREATURES 1: THE STORY OF SHILLA MONSTERS AND PIRATES
Dr. Kwak Jae-sik is a monster doctor who has been persistently collecting native monsters in Korean folktales, and literature records for a long time. A Korean-style fantasy series that he created together with writer Jung Eun-kyung, and illustrator Ahn Byung-hyeon, who have written many animation scenarios.
Mysterious and lively native Korean monsters unfold as if the reader were watching a video. The book provides wit that reverses the tension, and suddenly changes tense situations with humor in fast-paced events and tragic scenes, while the pictures reproduce a fantastic worldview by combining historical evidence and the power of imagination, providing an immersive experience that goes beyond the limits of text.
