Chung Serang who has been beloved by readers for her unique imagination and heart-warming stories has published a new novel School Nurse Ahn Eunyoung. The story centers on a school nurse Ahn Eunyoung who is working at M private high school. Though neither her job nor her name is special, she is not just one of the school nurses. She always has a lot of work to do but carries out her duties as a school nurse faithfully. And at the same time, she dedicates herself to her vocation as an exorcist. Hong Inpyo, who is a Chinese character teacher and descendent of the founders of M private high school, has enormous energy which serves as an essential nutrient helping Ahn perform her duties. To replenish Hong's energy and protect peace in school, they collaborate as a team. Bizarre monsters, mysterious phenomena observed by students, and strange strength are witnessed inside the school... What secrets are hiding in M school? Above all, will Ahn and Hong become a couple?
As an exorcist and psychic healer, Ahn has seen something invisible to other people since birth. Some people may assume that she would be dark and cool, but she is not only an exorcist but also a woman who has her unique personality and work ethic as a school nurse. Ahn is cheerful, firm, funny, and also brave, and represents a strong female character that is not easily seen in most Korean novels, She exorcises evil spirits and phantoms with a plastic knife and BB gun and runs around in platform slippers. When she is in a rush, her stockings are torn. She also listens to the concerns of students and guides those who may go astray with her own method. While punishing severely those who abuse their power and monsters who hurt humans, she consoles the spirits with engaging stories. She is not passive but independent, not sentimental but sensitive. Her fatal attractions are the ectoplasm that leads the whole story. - About the Author
