(English) Cup
On top of a small red cup, stack a yellow cup the same size, and on top of that place a cup that is larger in diameter than the two cups below. Since it is off balance, it looks like the stack will fall any minute now, but the cup stacking continues. This time, we’re going to start with the larger cup. When the small cup goes on top, then we’re finished! Well done!
The first attempt at cup stacking will end in failure, but the following attempts will end when the child completes stacking a tower of seven cups. Children who succeed in stacking the cups will experience the joy that comes from a sense of accomplishment. It’s okay if they fail. If the cups collapse, they can always try again.
