Tit-for-tat biology classes of two cheerful middle-aged men
A biology scholar who is afraid of writing initiates a biology class by engaging his friend who is a Korean language scholar.
A Very Special Biology Class describes a process in which a biologist afraid of writing completes a book with his Korean language scholar friend who forgot what science was. Professor Chang Soochul, who teaches general biology to freshmen at the undergraduate college of Yonsei University, focuses on teaching students, having left his long years of research behind. But the author has never taught biology to someone out of the classroom. Writing is even more unfamiliar and scary.
Professor Lee Jaeseong at the Department of Korean Language and Literature of Seoul Women's University has never been interested in science since graduating from high school. Professor Lee doesn’t even want to know about science. Professor Lee adamantly refused to participate in the class, but eventually gave in to an enticement from his friend. Professor Lee did so on the condition that he can freely ask about basic things, curious things and random things on behalf of ordinary middle-aged men, granted that he is a professor. Can the two middle-aged professors, who are close friends but give tit for tat finish their biology classes safely? Private but never secret one-to-one biology tutoring begins wherein questions are exchanged straight out.
