Book Intro

Companion Human

The story of all life in the world told by a grandfather to his grandchild that is valuable just with its mere existence.

Fairy tales pierce through the theme of ‘ecological restoration’ of nature and humans. ‘Ecologism’ that the author talks about encompasses the restoration of the physical natural ecosystem, purification of the social system, and the restoration of the individual and community. Realizing ecologism in modern society dotted with the savagery of self-centered rationality, materialism, and human alienation is a challenging and difficult task, but the author filled his aspirations for restoring the ecosystem that he could not give up on through 10 works.

In his title piece ‘Companion Human’ the author depicts dogs that have become the masters of the world and humans who were reduced to their companion humans.

Humans who had their habitats taken away by dogs as a result of environmental pollution is something that can occur only in a fairy tale, but it raises alarms at this moment of hardships due to COVID-19 that is the result of the immoderation of humans.
