Overview

Book Intro

In this book, the writer suggests ‘philosophy therapy’ to make an opportunity to grow up a step further by deeply considering many other issues in various stages of our life. What kinds of tips and advice would philosophy provide to us against all those issues, unexpectedly making us feel miserable?

The writer presents 33 kinds of philosophical wisdom created by various philosophers, such as Aurelius, Spinoza, Confucius, Benjamin, and Arendt, and he also takes philosophical concepts out to apply into modern situations. By leading these distant and sophisticated philosophical concepts into our ordinary life, the writer provides us with easy subscriptions to our attitudes. This book will help readers to philosophically understand ourselves better, improve ourselves, become deeper and more abundant, and have more meaningful attitude in life.

Many classical philosophers thought of philosophy as “the technology for life”, not as the activity to study abstract theories or to interpret old books. And they really wanted to become ‘doctors for people’s life’ on their own. Philosophy as a subscription for life, not as a theory, is the real aspect of philosophy itself. Today’s philosophy also should be in this way as well. This book is a philosophical journey for 33 days created from the writer’s long research and deep consideration, who has pursued ‘applying philosophy into daily life’, as well as a real subscription of philosophical counseling for tired modern people.
