Our ancestors had to get rid of humid and fungus and avoid bugs to store books or clothes for a long time. Therefore, they took out all their books and other items outside on a sunny day in July, 7th of lunar year. This picture book contains the scene of this old tradition.
The writer has vividly described how people in various classes live from rich noblemen to poor aristocrat to ordinary class people. In a wide garden of rich nobleman, people are diligently moving to take out books and items outside, and a lazy son of the noble class easily takes a break on his own. A poor aristocrat living in South area does not have many books and items, but he does not envy others at all and rather feels comfortable taking care of his valuable books. An ordinary class man living in a hut enjoys the sun and the wind while quickly moving in his garden with his pet dog. The writing of this book is presented as if somebody is quietly singing. And it takes readers to a simple scene of small town in Cho-sun dynasty. Humid books due to rainy season will become dry like new ones thanks to the sun and the wind.
