Read the engrossing thoughts of an engineer that are contained in almost every item that our eyes lay on. From the rattling lid on a kettle boiling barley tea to the steam engine, the breeze from an electric fan, and a rocket's jet, Dr. Yoo Mansun sets off from the simple everyday life to thoroughly explaining engineered inventions or outcomes that have changed the world. If science transformed our worldview, what actually transformed our lives is technology — in other words, engineering. This book deals with the perspective of a mechanical engineer who starts mulling over the practical use and then derives results while applying the principles. The moment that the attention-grabbing studies of scientists manifest into something of substantial use is when they go through the hands of an engineer.
