The Tools of Screenwriting: For Korean Writers is the result of the long experience and affection held by the author who is a film director and screenwriter. The book is an answer to why books on screenwriting should be boring, how come Korean writers have to study with a book on writing technique that deals with Hollywood movies, how much longer do writers have to analyze "Citizen Kane" that was made in 1941, and if there isn't a book that reaches out its hand, saying "Let’s write it together!" rather than "Now, start writing by yourself!"
