In the revised version, latest concepts and knowledge about etiopathogenic mechanism and opinions of the radiograph image based on the rapid developing diagnostic imaging technique have been complemented and explained. And to obtain systematic and comprehensive radio image diagnosis skills, the case reports have been replaced and complemented greatly, applying parts of the revised WHO nosotaxy list. Above all, in the revised version, to enhance the learning effects visually, we have included colored illustrations and explanatory diagrams of focus sites and anatomical structures according to the comments of medical residents. We hope this will help understand the characteristics of the focus more accurately and clearly.

After the first publishment of Atlas of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology in 2006 was all sold out, the revised version was released after transfering over 1,000 clinical reports into illustrations in full colors over 10 years for accurate diagnostic medical imaging.
