Over 2,400 images and illustrations included to broaden image view Everything described from the natural laws of ultrasonic waves to composing deciphered details This text book consists of the latest knowledge of different cases and mimetic diagrams and is organized into 4 sections as follows; Section 1(Introduction) - natural laws and delusions of ultrasonic waves, soft tissue, bones, joints, nerve-blood vessel(upper/lower limb), Section 2(Upper Limbs) and Section 3(Lower Limbs) - ultrasonic anatomy and disease concerning each joint and its surroundings, Section 4(Others) – ultrasound guided intervention, ultrasound after surgery, hip bones and spine of an infant, composition of deciphered details. Especially, Chapter 18 'Composition of deciphered image' will help not only medical residents but all who are interested, since it was rarely referred to in any other books so far.

With the support of The Korean Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology 37 writers have completed their work in 4 volumes and 18 chapters. To help understand the small image view of the ultrasound, a lot of plain films-CT-MR-mimetic diagrams were included. We hope that chapter 18 'Composition of deciphered image' will play its role as a compass for many specialists.
