Book Intro

So Jingi, the author, is an incumbent police chief as well as an essayist who was featured in Essay World in 2004. As So's first collection of essays, this book contains works spanning more than a decade.

The book consists of six parts and contains impressions of So's journey as a police officer with a pulse on Korean society.

About the Author

So Jingi



So Jingi graduated from the Korean National Police University in the 6th class and obtained a master's degree at the Graduate School of Law at Dong-a University. In 2004, he received the New Writer Award from Essay World for "The Meaning of the Choheon." He has served as the head of the Women and Youth Section, and as the head of the 112 All-Source Situation Room at Busan Metropolitan Police Agency, and is currently serving as the head of the Busan Bukbu Police Station.
