This is the first essay by Son Dae-beom, editor-in-chief of Jumpball, who is known as “Basketball Scholar” among basketball fans. It tells a story about the joy and passion of living life doing what you love to do, told through the subject of basketball.
As a fan of basketball may guess, the title of this book is a reference to a famous scene from the manga and anime Slam Dunk from the '90s. The emotions of those days, as well as the words of support and courage that encourage us when we are frustrated and disappointed, are carefully delivered. Also included are wonderful illustrations by artist Kim Jeong-yun, who captures the charm and allure of basketball with his artwork, that serve to draw in basketball fans.
