‘Amazing soil’ teaches about various kinds of soils, its breathing holes and the circle of soil “Let’s think about soil’ explains various subjects around the world that are made with soil and different soils by countries and plants’ preferred soil. ‘Let’s have fun with soil’ is about playing activities such as ‘Soil Color Painting,‘ Making Soil a Worm and Toad House.’ “Let’s protect soil looks into ways that we can work together to protect soils from degradation”
Han Sang-un, the illustrator depicts soils that could have been a serious topic with humor by using light and free touch styles of brushes. A worm, which has an inevitable relation with soil, was used as a sub character to give information in a more interesting way.

Lee Wonju
Lee Wonju received his MA in Soil Chemistry and Plant Nutrition from the graduate school of Seoul National University and the Wageningen National Agricultural University of Netherlands, respectively, and his PhD in Plant Nutrition from the graduate school of Seoul National University. Lee currently works as a director of ‘Lee Wonju Soil Hospital’ and is a professor of Gukje Cyber University and lectures on Soil Science at Seoul National University, Sungkyunkwan University, and Chung-Ang University. Discovering the fact that plants can listen to music while working as a head of Sericultural Insects Department in the National Institute of Agricultural Science and Technology of the Rural Development Administration for 33 years, Lee Wonju developed the ‘Green Music Agricultural Technique.’ Books written by Lee Wonju include You Can’t Farm Unless You Know the Soil, The Soil Gives You as Much as You Know about It, The Green Musical Agricultural Technique and Porch Botany.
