Young sook Kim
Young sook Kim is an art essayist. She has taught art history at public institutions, such as the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts, the Asia Culture Center, the Ministry of Government Legislation, and the Yongin Cultural Foundation, as well as at a number of companies, galleries and libraries. She is the author of several bestsellers on art. She studied Spanish language and literature at Korea University and worked at the Chilean embassy and the Bolivian embassy in South Korea. At the age of forty, she entered graduate school at Ewha Womans' University with a passion for art and studied art history.
Kim held lectures in many public institutions like art history in Sejong Center for the Performing Arts, Asia Culture Complex, the Office of Legislation, Yongin Cultural Foundation, many companies, galleries, libraries and etc while writing diverse best selling books. She has written 20 books including A Stroll in the Louvre and Orsay, World History in Art museum, A Stroll in Firenze arts, A Stroll in Art museum of Netherland and Belgium, The Impertinent Resistence of Modern Artists, Must-See Paints at the Vatican Art Museum Top 100, Greece Through Writing of Myth and Reading of History, Torch, the Painted Bible.
