Book Intro

Yeonwoo Lee and Seonjae Gang have been married for two years. On the day their divorce is finalized, Yeonwoo quite calmly accepts it because she doesn’t want to be in a marriage of convenience anymore. She and her now ex-husband separately walk out of family court. As she walks down the street,  she gets a text message  from her ex-husband, a vice president of a department store, stating that 100 million won (88,000 USD) has been sent to her as a divorce present. Yeonwoo turns around to complain to him about it. At that moment, she sees her ex-husband get hit by a car while trying to pick up his wedding ring, which had fallen to the ground. On a rainy day, she has a funeral for him. When she gets home, she finds a birthday card that Seonjae had sent to her, and she bursts out sobbing. The next morning, she wakes up in a familiar place. It is their matrimonial home, where she had written him a letter 100 days ago to ask him for a divorce.

Now that she has traveled time to the past, Yeonwoo tries to save her marriage in order to change Seonjae’s fate. Regardless of how she feels about him, she believes that it is her humanitarian duty to save his life, and she begins to check her husband’s health. Seonjae is truly confused about his wife’s overnight change, but gradually he opens his heart to her. He learns about Yeonwoo’s painful past and regrets not having known anything about her. Their “genuine” marriage life begins only in their second life. Can Yeonwoo save her husband from his tragic fate?
