"Flying the old Meadow Villa" deals with the communication issue between neighbors who live in villas with noisy floors. One day, the villa will talk to children who are notable to be friends among the fighting parents. Then he flies up to the sky and takes the children somewhere. What will happen? The surprised children came back home with friends and smiles. How do children who are alert and friendly get to the problem of reunification and settle for reconciliation? It was a magical house, old Meadow Villa that makes you happy over.

About the Author

Lee Nayoung



(English) Lee Na Young (F), born in Seoul in 1973, studied biology and creative writing at university and children's literature and children's story writing at the Children's Story Writer School and graduate school. She started her career as a writer after winning the 13th Munhakdongne Children's Literary Award in 2012.

She has written one picture book,  How did Mom Know?, and the children's stories Time Shop; The Red Thread; The Footprint Kid; and Twelve Years Old, A Lovable Me.

 

(English2) Lee made her debut with Time Store, which won the 13th Munhakdongne Children's Literary Award. Since then, she has gone on to write other books such as Rise Grasslands Villa, Red Thread, The Footprint Child, Twelve Years Old and In Love, The 13-Year-Old's Dunk Shoot, Protect Ari!, and Blue Marble.

(English) Shim Yoonjung strives to create more enjoyable and cheerful illustrations with a childlike heart. In 2009, she received the silver prize in the Korean Hans Christian Andersen competition.
