(English) Teach a Chimpanzee to Fish!
This book was selected as an outstanding science book by the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science & Creativity in 2017. ‘Teaching a Chimpanzee to Fish!’ is an illustrated science book to learn about chimpanzees in an easy and fun way based on the expertise and information of Korea’s number 1 primatologists, Dr. Kim Hee-soo. It delivers information and knowledge about chimpanzees through the day of the Hyun’s chimpanzee family living in the forests of Africa. Hyun copies the actions her parents to learn how to live in the forest, and she plays while shaking branches with her aunt. She sometimes gets hurt fighting with her older brother, but she treats the wounds using natural medicine from the forests.
It deals with the life of chimpanzees such as basic knowledge about chimpanzees, how they survive in the forest, how they learn to eat using tools, and how they play, in order to enhance the range of interest toward animals and natural science.

Elegido como una extraordinaria obra de ciencia por la Fundación Coreana para el Avance de la Ciencia y la Creatividad en 2017. “Chimpancé, el pescador” es un libro científica de dibujo que permite al lector conocer a los chimpancés de una manera amistosa y entretenida, basado en el conocimiento profesional del profesor Kim Heesoo, el primer primatólogo en Corea. Comparte informaciones sobre los chimpancés mediante un día habitual de la familia de chimpancés de Hyeoni que vive en los bosques africanos.
Hyeoni aprende a vivir en el bosque imitando el comportamiento de sus padres y juega con su tía sacudiendo las ramas de los árboles. De vez en cuando, se lastima por las peleas con su hermano y usa la medicina natural del bosque para curarse.
Cubre los conocimientos básicos de los chimpancés como la forma de vida en los bosques, alimento con herramientas y juegos. Incrementa el interés del lector por los animales y las ciencias naturales.
(Indonesian) Sebuah buku ilmiah bergambar yang memperkenalkan simpanse dengan cara yang ramah dan menyenangkan berdasarkan pengetahuan juga informasi dari Profesor Kim Hee-Soo, dokter primata No. 1 di Korea. Buku ini menceritakan tentang perilaku keseharian keluarga Simpanse Hyun yang tinggal di hutan afrika. Melalui buku ini kita bisa belajar untuk hidup harmonis dan lebih mencintai keluarga juga teman sekitar dengan mengamati pola hidup simpanse, hewan yang mirip dengan manusia namun memiliki kehidupan yang berbeda.

Kim HeuiSoo
(Indonesian) Seorang Dokter Primata. Lulus dari Departemen Biologi di Pusan National University dan menerima gelar Ph.D dari Primate Research Institute Kyoto University di Jepang. Sekarang beliau menjabat sebagai profesor di Departemen Biological Science di Pusan National University, dan aktif mempelajari kehidupan simpanse yang hidup dengan berbagai spesies. Buku-bukunya yang sudah terbit antara lain "Principia of Life" dan "Mengajarkan simpanse berbicara".
