Overview

The acorn time, the time to nurture the mind that has become smaller due to stress.

Book Intro

(English)  Most people will have days when they feel shriveled up. Acorn time is a portrayal of comforting yourself and escaping from that feeling. The author has amalgamated the real body with the feeling and shrunk the protagonist’s body. Then, he goes into the paint frame of the squirrel that opens the acorn lid. Inside, the protagonist rolls around aimlessly or stares at the sky emptying his mind and having a period of rest. After his mind has been
healed a little, the protagonist comes out of the acorn and waits for other acorn time journeyers, staring into the starry sky together.

About the Author

LEE, JINHEE

I want to create picturebooks that children, adults and animals love. I like forests and strolling about them, seeing all the furry animals and writing about small sparkling moments in my mind at quiet moments. I also draw pictures of my conversations with acquintances, the air during the walk, and the cuteness found. My picturebook is a piece of thread that is gathered in such small pieces. I want to put the moments that are in my daily life in my writing and drawing with a pure heart resembling animals.
