A fire takes place in a solitary house in a forest in 1999. A burned body of a person who is surmised to have committed a suicide and eleven heads piled up on a clay wall are discovered there. This horrendous and horrific incident has come to be known as the “Case of the Cabin.”
Mi-hui, who had gone there to report the incident, speculates that there could have been an accomplice and a child. But the case reaches a closure with the conclusion that it was the man who killed himself that committed the crime. Mi-hui, who insisted on one other person’s involvement, is castigated as wanting to take advantage of the incident to gain recognition. Meanwhile, her husband gets murdered in front of her very eyes when she goes out to meet the informant.
Twenty years from then, Mi-hui keeps receiving mail, asking her to get in contact with this person who has information on the “Case of the Cabin” to share.
