Book Intro

Art Podcast No. 1, An Art Museum In The Corner of a Room!

Nowadays, you can easily find the exhibitions of famous artists anywhere. Yet, even if you do visit the museum, you just hang around the room and leave. There is no appreciation of art. What if you take out an art book to learn about art? You'll get discouraged by the art terminology and theories pouring out of it!

This is why an art culture book like An Art Museum In The Corner of a Room is published, which will carry you easily over the lofty "art threshold." The author Cho Won Jae, is director and coordinator of the "An Art Museum In The Corner of a Room," the No. 1 podcast in the art field. He is delightfully delivers the stories of art with unique and rich storytelling. He says that in order to enjoy art properly, you have to delve into the artist's life. As such, he summons art masters from museums to the "corner of the room," and looks into private lives that are hidden behind their more well-known stories.

From the story of Edward Munch, who painted Scream, becoming an icon of longevity, to the reason why "soul painter" Van Gogh lost his soul to the devil, why Édouard Manet -  you can recognize his paintings but might not know his name - is the God Father of art masters, and why the best painter of the 20th century, Pablo Ruiz Picasso, stole his senior's art work and was even called a robber. This book is a pleasant guide to the art world, exploring the real life of artists and art, which are considered to be noble and elegant. Do you want to learn art in a casual way, with a light heart? If that is the case, do not hesitate to open the An Art Museum In The Corner of a Room. The art masters you see in the museum will soon come and knock on your door.
