Just as a mild cold hurts your body, mild depression hurts our minds. We have to talk about the empty spaces of the mind that are never filled, even when living without any problems, and the corner of the heart that remains depressed even while laughing and chatting with friends. Many people are accustomed to presenting a nice and bright appearance, but are really trying to hide their grim and dark feelings on the inside. But one thing you need to know to be happy is that you can never be happy if you neglect the depression in your heart.
This book depicts 12-week conversation between an author with dysthymic disorder (a state of mild depressive symptoms) and a psychiatrist. It is a book for people who seem fine on the outside but are sick on the inside, people who are not too depressed but also not very happy. It is the story of all of us, who are not free from the eyes of others, who are incomplete and miserable. This one book may not take away all your sorrows, but at least it will help you be a person who can cry when they want to cry, not someone who holds all their tears in.
