A Secret Fund Buried in the Grave of a Dead Mother

Near the luxurious apartment complex in Haeundae, Busan, Iseon asked her son, Jun, to go into a suitcase and put on a mask. Everyday, she practiced running away from her husband. She found some circumstantial evidence showing that her husband, the future director of Hanseong Hospital, intentionally killed her mother during a surgery. Iseon also happened to know that a secret fund of 10 billion won was buried in her mother's grave.

A Message from the Savior

Iseon made up her mind to leave Korea with her son and the hidden money. However, strangers secretly chased Iseon and took her child from her. She appealed to the police for help, arguing that her husband had hired them to kidnap the child. Jinmok, the detective in charge of her case, thought that she was out of her mind. She barely managed to find her son, and there was a dead body near him. Iseon's hair and fingerprints were on the dead body. All the circumstantial evidence fueled speculation that Iseon had killed the person for money. But Iseon, in a tight corner, got a text message from a savior.

The 10 Billion Won Bait

Following the directions in the message, she encountered a group of strangers. It was a group of people who had experienced malpractice at Hanseong Hospital and had now gathered to steal the hidden secret fund. Iseon grabbed a chance to drive a wedge between them, but accidentally caused them to die. What she did was irreversible and she tried to escape to protect Jun. She used the secret fund as a bait.

Jinmok, who supported her escape, pointed a gun at her, asking where the money was. After a hard fight, Iseon managed to escape the situation.

The Child Found in the Grave

Her son was found in the grave of her mother, in which the secret fund of 10 billion won was hidden. He was suffering from a high fever. Iseon went to the house of her father-in-law and begged him to save Jun. As her father-in-law had already retrieved the money, he refused to help her. Now that she could not save the money and her son, Iseon attempted to set fire to his house to ruin everybody's lives.

죽은 엄마의 묘에 묻혀있는 비자금 

부산 해운대의 고급 아파트촌 부근. 이선은 아들인 준이를 여행용 캐리어에 넣은 채 마스크를 쓴다. 그녀는 매일 같이 남편에게서 도망치는 연습을 하며 하루를 보낸다. 이선은 한성 병원의 차기 병원장인 남편이 자신의 엄마를 수술 중 고의로 죽인 것 같다는 정황을 포착한 이후, 죽은 엄마의 묘에 100억 원의 비자금이 묻혀 있다는 것을 알게 된다. 

구원자의 메시지 

이선은 숨겨진 비자금을 가지고 아이와 함께 해외로 출국하기로 결심한다. 하지만 조용히 제 곁을 떠도는 낯선 이들에게 아이를 빼앗긴다. 이선은 남편이 사람들을 고용해 아이를 납치한 것이라고 경찰에게 호소하지만, 담당 형사인 진목은 오히려 이선의 정신 상태를 의심한다. 

가까스로 발견한 아이의 근처엔 시체가 놓여 있다. 그 시체엔 이선의 머리카락과 지문 등이 묻어 있다. 모든 정황이 이선이 돈을 목적으로 살해했을 거란 추측을 불러일으키는 가운데, 꼼짝없이 붙잡힌 이선에게 어느 구원자의 문자 메시지가 날아온다. 

100억 원의 미끼 

이선은 메시지를 따라 움직인 끝에 정체불명의 사람들을 마주하게 된다. 그들은 한성병원에서 의료 사고를 당한 이들로, 숨겨진 비자금을 탈취하기 위해 모인 그룹이다. 이선은 틈을 타 그들을 이간질시키고, 끝내 우발적으로 죽음에 이르게 한다. 돌이킬 수 없는 강을 걷게 된 이선은 이제 아이를 지키기 위해 100억 원의 돈을 미끼로 도주를 시작한다. 

이선이 도망칠 수 있도록 도와주던 형사 진목은 이선에게 총을 겨누며 100억 원의 현재 위치를 묻는다. 이선은 진목과의 싸움 끝에 가까스로 벗어난다.

무덤 속에서 발견된 아이 

아이는 바로 처음 100억 원이 발견됐던 무덤 안에서 열이 끓는 채로 발견된다. 이선은 시아버지의 집으로 돌아가서 아이를 구해달라고 사정하나, 돈을 되찾은 시아버지는 이선의 부탁을 저버린다. 돈도, 아이도 지키지 못하게 된 이선은 시아버지 저택에 불을 질러 모두 다 끝장나는 파국으로 치닫으려 한다.
