The book is a dictionary that helps readers understand the basic concepts and principles underlying mathematical terms and improve their math skills.
- Book Intro
-
Memorizing a ton of mathematical formulas doesn't guarantee one's competency in math. That's why it's important to understand mathematical concepts and principles. If one completely understands mathematical concepts, he/she can try many different approaches to solving math problems. This eventually results in expanded thinking and confidence in solving unfamiliar problems.
Just like looking words up in a Korean dictionary, readers can use The Complete Dictionary of Math to search for mathematical terms. It will be a great guide when readers find something difficult in their textbook or workbook.
