猫が問題行動を起こすと、飼い主は「なぜだろう」、「なにを考えてるんだろう」と不思議に思う。原因はわからず、いっそ猫になりたい気分だ。そして吐露する。うちの猫は「急に」こんな行動を取るんだと。しかしナ・ウンシク獣医師は語る。猫の行動は決して「急」ではないと。猫は普段から自分の感情を保護者に表現している。飼い主がその手がかりを見逃したり、誤解していただけだ。したがって、猫の心を正しく読めば、飼い主も猫も幸せになれる。

About the Author

Na Eungsic



(Japanese) 忠北大学獣医学科卒業及び同大学院博士課程を修了し、グレイス動物病院代表院長、韓国猫獣医者会対外協力理事、ソウル特別市獣医者会広報理事として活動している。EBS〔猫を頼む〕で猫の感情を読んで問題行動を矯正する姿を通じて、執事たちに‘ニャオ神’と呼ばれ、大韓民国代表専門獣医者として定着した。

 

(English) Na Eungsic is the head veterinarian at the Grace Veterinary Vclinic. He studied veterinary medicine at Chungbuk National University, and received his Ph.D from the Graduate School of the same university. He is currently the director of external collaboration for the Korean Society of Feline Medicine and the director of promotion for the Seoul Veterinary Medical Association. He has made TV appearances on EBS's Look After My Cat and tvN's The Dog-Cat Conversation, and earned the nickname of "Nya Ong Shin" meaning the god of cats in Korean.
