Overview

The author of the 200,000 copy best seller, The Power of 15 Minutes of Organizing a Day, organizing consultant Yoon Sunhyun's book about childhood education introduces how effective studying for one hour after organizing is greater than two hours after being scolded.

Book Intro

After scolding the child to finally sit in front of the desk, the child just looks at the smartphone. Another day, another sigh from the mother. How can this child develop a habit of studying voluntarily?

But did you know that study habits come from "organizing"? To develop a child's concentration, self-directiveness and creativity, one must first develop a habit of organizing. If a child fails to develop a habit of organizing, it will become difficult to control or direct the child's life itself, as it becomes more complex as the child grows.

The author of the 200,000 copy best seller, The Power of 15 Minutes of Organizing a Day as well as Organizing Relationships is Power and The Power of Organizing to Make You Rich, and the unrivaled expert in organizing , Yoon Sunhyun's latest book is about childhood education through organizing. The author has hosted multiple organizing consulting and workshop sessions for parents and their children over the years, and many parents asked him to publish a book about organizing for children. Comments like "It was difficult to organize because of my child," or "Please write a book about organizing for children," were increasing as more and more parents posted the same experience in organizing communities on the internet: "My child started to sit in front of the desk after we organized it together."

Of course there are other childhood education books that emphasize the need for children to develop a habit of organizing. However, most of them do not explain what influence organizing has on a child's academic and personal development, or mainly focus on simply storing the child's items at a certain place. Unlike other books, Yoon Sunhyun presents various examples and concepts about organizing in a wider perspective - in other words, he provides examples of organizing space, time and relationships. In addition to organizing things such as the child's desk and toys, he teaches how to organize studying schedules and personal relationships through fun and engaging activities, rather than simple commands.

This book showcases how a child can develop a habit of organizing and what kind of influence this has on the child's learning capability through true stories from parents and teachers. Readers will be able to gain a strong sense of motivation to try it out themselves.

Recommendation

Song Jaehwan, 2017, I would like to recommend this book to parents who want to raise their children as a child who organizes his/her surroundings well and parents whose relationship with their children became rough because of organizing.

Cheon Guen A, 2017, This book introduces the role of parents in trying to help a child to gradually learn how to organize rather than forcing and scolding a child to organize.
