(English) Dr. Park Youngwoo has been regarded as Korea's best obesity doctor due to his efforts made with obesity patients over the past 20 years. He points to food addiction as a new disease that threatens the health of modern day people. In other words, people unconsciously eat to feel comfortable, but they immediately regret eating afterwards. Food people eat for the purpose of reducing stress become sources of stress, creating a vicious cycle, like a boomerang. This is caused by highly palatable food (food which stimulates the brain's reward system, creating powerful addiction). Based on years of clinical experience and scientific knowledge, the author identified the causes of food addictions which, were previously bundled together under the vague expression of 'bad for one's health.' Doing so, the author warns about the powerful food addiction mechanism and emphasizes that the reason people cannot escape from the vicious cycle of stress caused by food is not because of their lack of will.

The first chapter, "Repeating Failures and Causes," explains how people fail in diets and the yo-yo effect, and warns about the food addiction. The second chapter, "Dangerous Attraction, Food Addiction," explains the flavors that cause addiction, the reactions our bodies have to highly palatable food, and the shocking process of how we slowly become addicted to these flavors. The third chapter, "Causes of Food Addiction," introduces the five elements Dr. Park Youngwoo has identified as the causes of food addiction through his clinical experiences. The forth chapter, "Type of Food Addiction," provides references to help readers decide whether or not they fall within the definition of food addiction, and asks readers to share the reference to acquaintances to warn them of various types of highly palatable food. The fifth and last chapter, "Overcoming Food Addiction," presents ways to overcome food addiction. This chapter introduces various measures to improve one's resistance such as "4 meals a day without a moment to be hungry", "maintaining empty stomach for 12 hours" and a "breakfast menu" as well as psychological measures to control hormones.
